White Barn Farm is seeking highly motivated employees to work seasonally in our greenhouse and high tunnels.  

Greenhouse Workers X2

White barn is looking for to people to assist in all greenhouse operation.  No experience neccesary

Schedule:

  • This is a part time job
  • March-June
  • roughly 20-25 hrs a week
  • times can be decided after job acceptance 

Responsibilities 

  • Seedings
  • potting up
  • take direction
  • move plants

Qualifications

  • Good attitude

Compensation

  • Hourly wage $10-$11.50/hr (based on experience)
  • Produce and Plants provided during your work season

GREENHOUSE/HIGHTUNNEL ASSISTANT - this position has been filled for 2018

We are looking for someone who has some experience with plants. They are interested in learning greenhouse production and takes pride in their work.

Schedule:

  • March/September/October 25-30hrs/week
  • April-August 40hrs/week
  • Days can be decided once hired, but would be good to work either a saturday or sunday

Responsibilities:

  • Help manage Crew
  • Seeding
  • Potting up
  • grafting
  • watering
  • take good notes
  • read greenhouse schedule
  • WORK DIRECTLY WITH CHRISTY
  • harvest/manage microgreens operation
  • Plant and Prune in Hightunnel
  • Cultivate in Hightunnel 

Qualification

  • At least 2 years experience working on a farm
  • At least 1 year experience working in a greenhouse
  • Self motivated
  • Pride in work
  • Take direction well
  • lift 50 lbs
  • On time and reliable
  • Willing to take on responsibility
  • Can work in extreme heat and Cold

Compensation 

  • pay starts at $13/hr
  • you receive fresh produce and plants throughout the season
